Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today unveiled the Samsung Notebook 9 Series at the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. With a weight of only 1.31kg (2.88lbs.), measuring only 16.3mm(0.64inches) in depth, and with a screen size of 13 inches, the Samsung Notebook 9 Series is premium notebook for consumers who pursue the best of everything: design, performance and usability.

Samsung’s Notebook 9 Series has been equipped with a vivid ‘SuperBright Plus’ display (400nit) with 16 million color reproduction, all encased in the most advanced duralumin metal alloy. The Samsung Notebook 9 Series ultra premium notebook offers a bright, vivid viewing experience, premium outfit, and optimized power and performance.

The Samsung Notebook 9 Series is crafted from duralumin, a lightweight material that is twice as strong as aluminum and normally used in advanced aircraft design. While working on the design for its premium notebook, the Samsung Notebook 9 Series underwent an exhaustive testing process, ensuring the Notebook 9 Series is durable enough for use at home and on the go.

The sophisticated beauty of the flowing line on the side of the Notebook 9 Series is a key design concept. The notebook’s SuperBright Plus display with 400nit brightness, which is two times brighter than conventional displays, as well as its vibrant Color reproduction (16 million colors) and Super Contrast ratio (1,300:1), makes it one of the most beautiful notebook displays on the market. The Notebook 9 Series’ premium notebook display also includes advanced usability and performance-enhancing features. Samsung’s Fast Start instant-on feature allows users to start working within 12 seconds and become immersed in a truly mobile lifestyle. A 128/256GB solid state drive (SSD) provides more than enough space for personal and professional life; with no moving parts, the Notebook 9 Series delivers 60 percent faster booting than a hard disk drive (HDD) notebook. The Notebook 9 Series also has increased durability and minimized noise and heat. Additionally, Samsung’s Fast Start technology powers on the device in just three seconds from sleep mode. Users will never have to wait to experience the latest in design and performance perfection. In this advanced sleep mode, data is also saved on the SSD as well as the internal memory, so content is ready even if power is suddenly lost or the battery is removed.

The Notebook 9 Series’ battery lasts up to three times longer than a typical notebook battery. PowerPlus is Samsung’s optimized battery charging technology that extends battery life in concert with the notebook’s power-efficient lithium-polymer battery.
